Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh: BJP leader Ashish Upadhyay made a strong statement on Saturday while being escorted to jail after a court appearance in connection with an alleged betting syndicate case under investigation in Jhansi.
Speaking briefly outside the court premises, Upadhyay claimed that the truth behind the case would eventually come out. Referring to the matter as a conspiracy against him, he told supporters and media personnel, “धर्म की विजय होगी और अधर्म का नाश होगा” (“Truth and righteousness will prevail, and evil will be destroyed”).
